There are two individual courses Level 4 Award in Food Safety Management for Catering  and Level 4 Management for Manufacturing combined together to enable the minimum number to be reached. This course is aimed at managers, supervisors and senior hygiene personnel to provide the understanding and knowledge required to implement and manage food safety management procedures in a food manufacturing operation.
The course is for those whose job requires them to have increased responsibility for food safety likely to have management responsibilities for an operational team.

Course Duration:
The 5 full days over several months with additional  20 hours  reading and research required to be evidenced.

Topics Covered:
This covers covers the subject of food hygiene at a suitable depth to ensure learners have a thorough knowledge of hazards and controls; its focus is on the importance of developing, implementing and monitoring food safety procedures.

Assessment Method
This course is assessed by multiple-choice and written examination.
