Baking Industry Skills
These qualifications are for people working in the baking industry. Full 100% QCF funding is available from Intrinsic Training Solutions.
Offering everyone the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge required to prove competency at work. The qualification will suit individuals who are competent at the core baking industry skills such tasks may include:
- selecting weighing mixing bakery ingedients,
- preparing and mixing dough,
- preparing and mixing flour confectionery
- and similar tasks.
For those individuals competent in these and similar tasks this qualification gives a chance to obtain a recognised industry qualification to identify these skills but also to expand possible competency to enable perhaps to support the need for multi-skilling career progression.
The units for the Level 2 Certificate are listed below. The Rules of Combination are very flexible, allowing learners to select the most relevant units to the job role.
