Intrinsic Training Solutions are one of the leading providers of training and development services in the East Midlands. We have been delivering top quality learning services since 2000. In the last 12 years we’ve trained very many people who as a result of attending our training programmes have progressed in their career.
We are now meeting the new challenge of the Qualification Credit Framework (QCF) and the addition of the Apprenticeships. However with the experience of previous changes we do do see any major issues.

We run open courses at venues all over the country, and every year we help very many people become more effective in their jobs. Our courses help people to be more confident and capable, in their job as a result of the knowledge or skills they benefit from.
Company Training Courses
We design and deliver in-house training programmes to organisations each year. We provide expert support at every step of the process, from inception through delivery and evaluation, to ensure our training courses gives their organisation the maximum benefit.

Our courses are assessed, managed and measured to ensure they have the best possible impact. The quality of our training courses are assessed and accredited by Nationally Recognised Awarding Organisations.
We have put a great deal of thought into delivering our quality training to aid development and assessing and reporting on the effectiveness of our quality training courses.
How do We Deliver Training that Drives Results?
All of our courses are delivered in an inter-active and engaging way to help delegates create real change. We use a variety of learning styles during each course ensuring we deliver courses to suit everyone attending. Our mix of delivery methods ensures everyone attending takes away as much as they can from each course.
How do we Measure Results?
We maximise the benefit to everyone who attends a course with us.
It works like this:
· Before their course everyone attending is sent course-specific information.
· At the end of the course each delegate is asked to complete an evaluation of what they have learnt and provide feedback on their view of the course programme.
We compare the post-course data to see how delegates feel they’ve benefited. People attending feel their knowledge and skills have improved after completing one of our courses or QCF training programmes.

Our Team
Philip Wadsworth: Managing Director
- Began working in the Meat Industry in 1975 within the retail & manufacturing sectors of the industry.
- After obtaining various qualifications in the meat industry and many years experience, Philip became an assessor in 1996
- Philip is now responsible for managing and verifiying the NVQ programmes.
- Responsible for administering the requirements of an approved centre for City & Guilds and Meat Training Council, Food & Drink qualifications, The Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) and The Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH) Awarding Bodies.
- Delivers the Food Safety, Health & Safety and HACCP courses at all levels which are accredited and certificated by C.I.E.H. & RSPH.
Has until recently worked with City and Guilds as an External Verifier for the Food and Drink Manufacturing and Cleaning and Support Services NVQs. In the past worked at Bedford College helping to start-up and develop Catalyst the services to business division of the College. Therefore developing a knowledge of the requirements of the colleges when dealing with the funding available.
Patricia Wadsworth: Health and Social Care including Infection Control
- Began her nursing career in 1978
- Experienced in working with the elderly, general nursing and has specialised in Infection Control since 1997
- Head of Infection Control at Northampton Hospital.
Working Partnerships
We work with many associate assessors in we particular have a strong working relationship with Phoebe Nyoni of Explicit Solutions Ltd.
